  • Asynchronous Job Queue: Architected task orchestration using BullMQ & Redis to offload long-running AI video rendering jobs from Telegram webhook cycles, preventing gateway timeouts and dropped requests.
  • Resilient Polling & Dispatch Worker: Built dedicated background workers with exponential backoff and retry mechanisms to track upstream AI generation progress and dispatch completed assets directly to social media APIs.
  • Credit & Ledger System: Implemented atomic credit deduction and balance replenishment using PostgreSQL transactions, paired with idempotent payment webhook verification.
  • High-Performance Lightweight Runtime: Leveraged Hono JS in a containerized Docker environment for minimal cold starts, high throughput, and low memory footprint.

Modernized The Everyday Museum’s web infrastructure by migrating a legacy native PHP monolith into a high-performance Jamstack architecture powered by Astro and headless CMS, deployed globally via Azure Static Web Apps.

Technical Highlights

  • Headless CMS Integration: Decoupled content management from delivery layer by integrating DatoCMS GraphQL API with Astro’s build pipeline, giving editors intuitive publishing workflows while eliminating dynamic database bottlenecks.
  • Zero-JS by Default: Leveraged Astro’s island architecture and Static Site Generation (SSG) to generate pre-rendered, lightweight HTML/CSS bundles, driving near-instant initial page loads and top-tier Core Web Vitals.
  • Automated CI/CD Pipeline: Configured GitHub Actions CI/CD to trigger automated builds and cache-purged previews directly to Azure Static Web Apps (SWA) on content updates.
  • Cost & Maintenance Reduction: Replaced self-hosted PHP/Apache server infrastructure with serverless edge hosting, eliminating server patching overhead and slashing operational hosting costs.
