About
I'm Taufik. I live in Kebumen, a regency on the south coast of Central Java, Indonesia, and I've been building for the web since 2015.
I started with WordPress and never really left it - themes, plugins, and the awkward custom work that sits between them. Most of my days now go to web apps in Laravel and Next.js, and Astro when a landing page needs to load fast and stay boring to maintain.
I run the servers those apps sit on. Nginx or Apache, Docker for packaging, Kafka when services need to hand work off without waiting on each other, and Node.js with BullMQ for background jobs. Postgres is my default database, MySQL and MariaDB on older projects, SQLite when a single file is enough. I've managed resources on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud - usually whichever one the client is already paying for.
This site holds my writing, the projects I've shipped, and a handful of small tools I built because I got tired of searching for them. It runs on Astro, MDX, and TailwindCSS.
